At Checkbox you will be our first marketing hire and will have both the excitement and challenge of setting up the marketing function at Checkbox, reporting direct to the CEO.
You will be tasked with independently setting the overall marketing strategy for the company as well as getting your hands dirty implementing the strategy at a tactical level. As we are a young and growing company, you will be playing a critical role in setting the direction of not only our marketing function and culture, but our company as a whole.
In this position, you will:
+ Design and own the marketing strategy roadmap
+ Manage the content, visual design, information architecture, and effectiveness of the Checkbox website as well as search engine optimisation (SEO)
+ Manage and execute on the PR strategy by sourcing and building relationships with relevant channels
+ Manage the social media strategy across key platforms such as LinkedIn
+ Manage the Checkbox brand and associated style guides and policies to protect the brand
+ Manage all content that is distributed to customers or the public from a brand or messaging perspective
+ Create marketing collateral such as infographics, short form articles, banners and posters.
+ Organise and drive attendance for events that align with the business strategy
+ Measure and report on key marketing performance metrics across all media and leverage this data to design future marketing campaigns
+ Be a strategic adviser to the business
The ideal candidate would exhibit the following:
+ At least 2 years of experience marketing products targeted at enterprise
+ Proficient at Adobe Creative Cloud (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
+ Experience website management (WordPress)
+ Have had experience independently managing end to end marketing campaigns
+ Understands how to work with limited resources and a small team
+ Have had experience managing multiple product lines
+ Experience working in legal, risk, compliance or professional services sectors.
+ Experience marketing for Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
Compensation will vary based on experience but will consist of both salary and stock options.
